Some tips for your holiday at Camping De Zanding in Otterlo
- You’ll be on the Veluwe in no time. In this pristine natural area the possibilities are endless. Take the most beautiful pics to post on Instagram. And don’t forget to enjoy the beautiful area.
- If your kids are animal-lovers then you should go to Apenheul, where you’re surrounded by monkeys. They’ll even climb on you!
- Afterwards it’s time to visit the vibrant city of Apeldoorn. Don’t forget to visit Paleis het Loo afterwards. This palace shows you the lives of the Dutch kings and queens.
- Do you want to experience something entirely different? Then you can go to Kootwijkerzand, also nicknamed the Sahara of the Low Countries. You can walk beautiful hiking trails here, but deviating from them is even more fun. Make your way through the loose sand and before you know it you’re standing face-to-face with a raven. You should also visit the watchtower de Zandloper. From here you’ll have a beautiful view of the area.
- Do you fancy going shopping? Arnhem is right around the corner. This vibrant city offers many options and you can fill your wardrobe in no time.
- Amusement park Kinderpretpark Julianatoren is a 30-minute drive from the campsite. This amusement park is every child’s dream. You can easily spend the day here and the kids will rave about it!
- Burgers’ Zoo is even closers. Tigers, monkeys, sharks… The kids will marvel at everything and also learn more about these special animals!
