In the eastern part of the Netherlands, to the west of Winterswijk, the landscape is called a "coulisse landscape", a range of bushes, open fields, meandering streams and farm houses. This is the quietness and beauty of The Achterhoek, a part of the Netherlands close to the German border.
"The campsite is part of a leisure park. Plenty to do for younger children. Close by is a leisure lake with a beach and is ideal for cycling."

On the whole our holiday was really good. The facilities on site are well looked after and very clean. Everything reasonably priced. The water slides were the childrens favourite.
Cycling around the side roads and along the river, lots of windmills, Ice cream parlour in winterswijk

Great campsite - well run with very friendly helpful staff. Stayed in the Kalahari Safari tent - well equipped with every thing we needed - would recommend it - we had a great time.
Take or hire bikes - the cycle network is excellent and extensive, take cash for some restaurants and attractions as they don't all take cards
