Can I hold accommodation temporarly before booking?

Yes, we can hold accommodation for you on a short-term basis depending on availability, this may not be possible in high season or very close to your departure date. Please contact our reservation team for further information.

How and when will I receive my booking confirmation?

Approximately 10 minutes after making your reservation, we will send you a confirmation by email to the address you provided. If you do not receive an email, please check your junk/spam folder and if not received, please contact our reservation team.

I was in the process of making a reservation, but now the selected dates are longer available. What should I do?

Please check if your reservation details are showing in your shopping cart (top right-hand side of the web page). If not, then the selected accommodation is unfortunately, no longer available. The system will only hold accommodation when the reservation is definitively confirmed.

Can I take out travel insurance with Vacansoleil?

Yes, please contact us for a quote. It is not currently possible to book online.

What type of accommodation can I book?

Vacansoleil offer luxury mobile homes, bungalow tents, safari tents and glamping accommodations. If you want to holiday with your own caravan, tent, or motorhome, then we can book a camping pitch for you. Would like to know more about our accommodation and the dimensions of our units? Then please check our website: https://www.vacansoleil.co.uk/accommodation/. It is possible that there are different versions of the same unit type on the same campsite. For example, a mobile home Bali 1 and a Bali 2. In this scenario something differentiates between the two types. For example, Bali 1 may have a microwave and the Bali 2 not. Apart from the any stated differences, these accommodations are essentially the same. For full accommodation information please check the "Accommodation" section of the corresponding campsite on our website.

I have paid for a special request (preference). Is it guaranteed?

No, special requests are not guaranteed. We will of course do our best to grant your wish, but we can never guarantee it. Some requests depend on many specific conditions on the campsite. Due to the administration involved, special request charges will not be refunded even if your request was not granted.

Can I amend my reservation?

You can amend your reservation x 1 time for free up until April 15, 2022, inclusive. Please note that any new holiday cost cannot be less than the original cost (or amendment fees will apply). You can change the following: destination, camping, accommodation and / or period of your stay. If you would like to change your reservation, then please contact us as soon as possible.

Can I cancel my reservation?

For reservations made after August 19, 2021, and with a full stay in 2022, the following applies: the reservation can be cancelled free of charge up to March 1, 2022. Your (initial) payment will be refunded*. This only applies to new bookings made on or after August 19, 2021. *Please note however that any bookings with an original arrival in 2021 that have been rebooked to 2022, or any bookings made using a credit voucher, cannot be cancelled free of charge regardless. After March 1, 2022, you can cancel a reservation by phone/email up to the day of arrival, but it will no longer be possible to do so for free. In such cases, you will have to pay any relevant cancellation fees applicable in, accordance with Vacansoleil's general cancellation terms & conditions.

What days can I arrive and depart the campsite?

Most campsites allow you to arrive/depart on any day of the week. In high season, some campsites have fixed arrival and departure days, so you can only book to arrive or depart during those days.

Can I book to stay for just one night?

You can book a one-night stay at a limited number of campsites. In most campsites there is a minimum number of nights that must be booked per accommodation. Normally it is two nights in low season and four in high season. You can view the minimum number of nights in the price table in the "Accommodation and prices" tab of the chosen campsite

Is it possible to transfer my reservation to another person?

Yes, it is possible. The owner of current reservation must notify it in writing. A 35.00-euro amendment fee applies.

Can I make a reservation for a group?

Please contact our reservation team in advance if wish to make a group booking.

Are young people traveling alone allowed to book and stay at the campsites?

Most of our campsites are family campsites, so young people traveling alone are usually not allowed. Please contact our reservation team in advance, before making any booking on our website, as you maybe refused entry to the campsite. We can then check in advance if your booking will be allowed.

Is there a baby cot in my accommodation?

A cot is not included as standard, but you can reserve a baby pack at many campsites. Check under the tab "Accommodation and prices" to see if your chosen campsite offers it. The baby pack consists of a cot, a highchair and often a baby bath. If booked, the pack will be placed in your accommodation saving lots of luggage space during your travels. Keep in mind that the space between the single beds in our accommodation is usually not big enough to place a baby cot there. It may be possible to put one of the single beds on its side and create some space that way. Please note that cots do not come with any bedding or a mattress. So, you must bring your own sheets, blankets, and a mattress.

Can I bring a pet (s) to the campsite?

Is your pet ready for a little vacation too? Your pet will be very welcome in many of our campsites. Please check the specific information details of your chosen accommodation to see if pets are allowed and if so, how many. Additional pet fees are charged. Please indicate when making a reservation if you are going to bring pets. Some campsites do not allow pets in high season. Pets are generally not allowed in shops. Tip: Use the yellow search bar on the home page to enter the number of pets. You will then immediately get an overview of all available campsites and accommodations where pets are welcome.

Can more people stay in my accommodation than the maximum indicated number allowed?

No, this is not possible. All accommodations have a maximum capacity that must be respected. If you have a large family, get in touch with us and we will try to find an accommodation that can suit your needs.

How are pitch prices calculated?

The initial pitch prices shown (for a tent, caravan or camper owned) in the first steps of your booking are based on two adults only. Even if you have entered for more people. How is it possible? This is because pitches prices vary depending on each person's age and campsites. The final pitch price will be shown after step 4 in the booking process once each person's date of birth is entered and before you can finalize your booking.
