What will I find in my Vacansoleil bungalow tent?
A Vacansoleil tent has a very complete layout. For example, your kitchen has a three burner hob and a full size fridge. Of course there's also plates, glass ware, cutlery, cooking gear and a full set of pans. We also provide electricity: your tent is well lit and the refrigerator is connected as it should be. The sleeping compartments have real beds and mattresses of north-European brands. The length of the double bed and both single beds is 190 cm. The two other single beds are 180 cm long. You must take your own blankets, sheets, pillows and pillowcases. Every Vacansoleil tent has its own complete garden set with two tables, four plastic chairs, two adjustable chairs and a parasol. The campsite's sanitary buildings have excellent shower, washing and toilet facilities.
Will my accommodation have the same interior as shown on the website?
Photographs of the interior give an impression of what to expect in your accommodation. However not all interiors are the same and décor and furniture may differ.

Sheets, duvet covers and pillow cases are usually not provided at your accommodation. You will need to bring these yourselves. Usually you can hire a linen package (Before you depart with Vacansoleil.) Duvets, blankets and pillows are available in the mobile homes, glamping mobile homes and most safari tents. Duvets, blankets and pillows are not available in bungalow tents. You will need to bring these yourselves. Some accommodations and campsites are exceptions. Check your travel documents to see what’s included at your accommodation. Naturally you can always contact us. We’ll be happy to help you.
Can I pre-book bed linen?
In all our mobile homes, pillows/blankets are usually provided. Bed linen (sheets/pillow cases) in most cases is not included. On some campsites it is possible to pre-book bed linen online during the booking process. If this option is not available it may be possible to book linen with us by phone and pay locally. On some campsites bed linen rental is not possible at all. Towels are usually not available to rent and you may need to bring your own. Please note: no bedding of any type is provided in the tents, you must bring your own pillows, blankets, linen and towels.
Can we place a child's camp bed in one of the bedrooms?
The space between the two beds is not wide enough for a child's camp bed. However it is an option to tip up one of the single beds or put it aside, thus creating room for the camp bed. Our sales team can inform you if this will be an option in your accommodation.
Does all the accommodation have a refrigerator?
Yes. All mobile home types and the Vacansoleil bungalow tents have a fridge with a freezer section.
Does all accommodation have air conditioning?
Many mobile homes have air conditioning. The provision of air conditioning is park and accommodation specific. You will find this information via the accommodation and prices section of a given campsite. The accommodation description shows which type. However, the use of the air conditioning is not always included in the price. Any extra costs for the air conditioning will be stated at important information which appears when you have selected an accommodation and a period of stay.
It is possible that the airconditioning in the mobile home is also the function for heating. Due to the energy savings policy of the campsite the airconditioning is sometimes switched off when you are not present in the mobile home. We ask for you understanding.
Where is the Vacansoleil accommodation situated?
This may differ per campsite. You can ask for a preference if you have any wishes about the location at most of the camspites. Please call our sales team who will be happy to discuss any possible preferences.
I have booked two different types of accommodation, will they be located next to each other?
The location of Vacansoleil accommodation differs on each campsite. Generally the same type of accommodations are located close together. However, there is a small chance that this may be the case for two different types. Our sales team can inform you about the location of the different type of accommodation.
Can I put up a small tent next to the accommodation?
This differs at each campsite. Some campsites don't mind, some may charge. However, it is not allowed to exceed the maximum number of people staying in the accommodation. Our operators can provide more details.
How many people are allowed Vacansoleil's accommodation?
All tents have sleeping space for 6 people (4 adults and 2 children), divided into 2 or 3 inner sections. A standard mobile home is suitable for 4 adults and 2 children. For larger families we have a selection of campsites that allow up to a maximum of 7/8 people in our 3 bedroom Waikiki mobile home. Some of our accommodation is only suitable for less than 6 people, such exceptions will be shown during the booking process in the drop down box where you enter your family size. All accommodation party size limits are inclusive of children and babies. If you would like to book for 7/8 people please contact our call centre on: 0333 700 50 50.
Can I exceed the maximum number of persons permitted in the accommodation?
In some case this is permitted but only when it involves 1 family (2 adults and 5 own children). The Vacansoleil accommodations are equipped for the maximum number of persons permitted. This is why Vacansoleil needs to request the extra person/s with the campsite and also to avoid problems on arrival at the camspite. It is important that the maximum number of persons permitted in the accommodation will not be exeeded for insurances purposes and also in cases of emergency.
Why has the name of my booked accommodation changed?
At Vacansoleil we offer various types of mobile homes, bungalow tents, safari tents, Glamping accommodations and pitches. In order to make the differences between all these types clearer, we switched to a new naming system in March 2021. If you booked your holiday prior to this time, you will now see a different accommodation name on future correspondents including your travel documents. There is no change to the accommodation you originally booked, only the name is different. You can also see the new accommodation names on our website.
