Vacansoleil is an international travel company in the premium and luxury camping sector. Our customers have been booking the best time of the year in our mobile homes and tents at 600 campsites in 22 European countries for 54 years.
In addition to the main office in The Netherlands, the company currently operates 9 offices abroad. For our office in Ireland, we are looking for a:
Country Manager Ireland/UK
Tasks:
- Strategy: You monitor the sales and marketing strategy for Ireland and UK in close cooperation with the headquarter. To do this, you use your market and specialist knowledge, make and maintain contacts in the industry and track down trends and developments.
- Personnel management: Management and further development of your team (currently 4 employees)
- Sales: You are responsible for the content of the website vacansoleil.ie. You control our sales campaigns, increasing the market share of your country and ensuring a higher occupancy of our accommodations.
- Customer Service: You ensure a professional working environment for your Customer Service team. Thanks to your hands-on mentality, you are a reliable source of support, especially when the workload is high, and you help your team to answer customer inquiries.
- Marketing: You will develop marketing campaigns for the Irish and UK market in coordination with the headquarter and ensure inspiring content on our (social) media channels.
- Office management: Budget monitoring, administration, communication with the local tax office, preparation of reports, coordination with the specialist departments in the headquarter and other country managers, etc.

Qualification:
- Academic education (Bachelor(/Master)
- At least 3 years of professional experience with leadership in the areas of sales, marketing, customer care etc
- Experience in the tourism industry is an advantage
- Excellent written and spoken English language skills
