Description of the residence
A charming resort surrounded by snow-capped mountains, with a friendly and unconstrained spirit... This is the promise of a stay in our residence in Valmeinier 1800. This resort, the highest in the Maurienne, wonderfully combines altitude and tranquility.
Perched on the heights of the resort, our Résidence Pierre & Vacances Le Thabor is made up of four buildings faithful to regional architecture with their wooden cladding and railings. Each apartment is carefully decorated, evoking the cozy atmosphere of Savoyard chalets, and has a balcony from where you can admire the exceptional panorama of the Thabor massif.
Ideally located at the foot of the slopes, the residence allows ski-in/ski-out access to the large Galibier-Thabor ski area. You can also indulge in numerous snow and après-ski activities to explore the fir-studded mountain sides from another angle. For greater convenience, you will have the possibility to rent your equipment in the Skiset® store located within the residence.
After a great day hitting the slopes, we invite you to come and warm up in our sauna or our magnificent heated outdoor swimming pool. What a pleasure to dive into warm water while admiring the icy landscape.
To regain your strength without braving the evening cold, we suggest you savor good Savoyard dishes in one of our two independent restaurants, located within the residence itself. Are you missing something for cooking? You will find shops less than 500 m away, in the center of the resort.
Please note: The swimming pool will be closed throughout the 2024 winter season.
