Some tips for your holiday at Camping Zsóry Liget Resort in Mezőkövesd
- Take a bicycle and drive to Lake Tisza. This nature reserve is beautiful to cycle through. You didn’t bring a bike? No worries. You can easily rent one here.
- Miskolc is not to be missed either. This historic and especially cosy city is full of sights. Visit Diósyör, the castle of kings and queens, stroll through the historic city centre and then the absolute highlight: Miskolc's cave pool - Tapolca. You won't find these special thermal baths anywhere else and with 30 degrees, it's all too good to be here.
- Capital Budapest is a 1.5-hour drive away, but well worth it. In the city where the Danube flows straight through, you will find history on every street corner, such as the Government Palace and the Fishermen's Bastion. But at the same time, it’s also a modern city with trendy places everywhere.
- When you think of Hungary, wine is not the first thing that comes to mind, but delicious wines are produced here. Head to Eger and visit one of the many wine tasting establishments here. You'll also find the extraordinary Eger Castle here, which is also well worth a visit.
