Some tips for your holiday at Camping Napfény in Révfülöp

    • Hegyestű Geológiai Bemutatóhely National Park at your feet. One of the best highlights? Hegyestű Geological Visitor Site, with panoramic views of Lake Balaton, the Tihany Peninsula, Káli and the Tapolca Basin. See the exhibition on the history of the quarry and the use of basalt. You can reach the car park at the top of the hill via the branch of the main road between Monoszló and Zánka.
    • After a 45-minute drive, park your car at Lake Hévíz. In the world's largest thermal lake, the water reaches as high as 35 degrees during summer. For the kids, there’s a separate playground with a children’s pool.
    • Festetics Palast is about 40 kilometres away. This palace dates from the Baroque period and immediately reminds you of Parisian architecture. But with a Hungarian twist. Stroll through the castle gardens and rest on a bench. Meanwhile, take the best holiday photos of the kids splashing by the fountain, surrounded by colourful flowerbeds.
    • Look for adventure and visit the Talpoca cave system. You don't have to drive far, because it’s just 22 kilometres away. In the heart of the city, you’ll discover the system of underground caves. The most impressive is the Lake Cave. While rowing in a boat, you’re surrounded by magical reflections and sparkles in the clear blue water.
    • 23 minutes away, you’ll find the 13th-century Szigliget castle. Park the car right in front of the castle. After a short walk, you’re immediately treated to a fairytale-like view.
