Some tips for your holiday at Camping River in Ameglia

    • You just have to google the pictures and you know; that's where I want to go. Cinque Terre are five improbably beautiful coastal villages 'drawn' on the rocks. And all the crayons are used up. Riomaggiore, Manarola, Corniglia, Vernazza and Monterosso al Mare together form a 10-kilometre stretch of UNESCO World Heritage. One of Italy's most popular tourist attractions.
    • The Riviera of Flowers is popular for its colourful seaside resorts and radiant sandy beaches. Fiumaretta is the nearest beach, 2.5 kilometers away. Because the sandy bottom slopes gently into the sea, your children can splash around safely.
    • Closer by is Marina di Massa, an exuberant town with a beautiful, wide sandy beach. Further south are the pristine sandy beaches of the jet-set resorts of Forte dei Marmi and Viareggio, known for chic palm-lined boulevards and five-star hotels.
    • Tuscany is also just around the corner. Within an hour you will be face to face with the Leaning Tower of Pisa. The walled medieval city of Lucca is also easily accessible for a day trip.
    • Also visit the port city of La Spezia. Italy's largest naval base is anchored here.
    • Nearest airport: Pisa (PSA) at 72 km
    • Train station: 5 km
    • Nearest city/village: 1 km
    • Nearest sea: at 5 km from the Mediterranean Sea
    • Supermarket: 3 km
