Spot the famous cathedral with its colourful tower, the Piazza Pretoria with the fountain, and the town hall. Cool off in the city's botanical gardens and shop for local specialties, as the Sicilians do, at the bustling market in the Il Capo district. A mix of Italian herbs, spices and fish stimulates your senses.
- You can reach Agrigento in just under 2 hours. History and vibrant city life go hand in hand. Early in the morning, visit the Valley of the Temples. This means you’ll have the ancient Greek city and the temples almost to yourself and you’ll escape the high Sicilian temperatures in the summer.
